DNS Outage

This morning there was an unplanned outage in the DNS service. While the servers continued to resolve hosted domain name, they were unable to recurse (that is, resolve domain names hosted elsewhere).

A restart of the DNS software quickly brought full service back, and we will be investigating the problem with the software vendor.

Mail server now supports Sieve filters

We have added the ability to our mail server to allow user creation of Sieve filters. Sieve filters are a powerful way of controlling your email account, allowing you to setup rules to move emails into different folders, forward copies to other email addresses, setup vacation auto-responders and more.
